Checked 28 October 2026 against the signed national Decree 2023/147 (Articles 4–36; family reunification also Articles 46–52) and MINREX public eVisa procedure, with MEA Indian-passport eligibility and CDC entry-health corroboration. National statutory documents and the public process were reviewed; no private application, payment or complete authenticated upload form was accessed. Follow any additional lawful request from the competent authority.
How to use this checklist
Start with the route facts first: citizenship, residence, application country, destination and purpose. Then review the document rows and order processing only where the row says it is required or optional.
Document requirements
| Document | Status | Scope | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Passport valid for more than six months | required | visa application | Article 36 requires passport or travel-document validity of more than six months. Use the same passport for pre-enrolment and travel and prepare its scan for the online file. Confirm the authority's applicable validity reference date and boarding instructions; no extra blank-page count is inferred. |
| Online pre-enrolment with the correct purpose and supporting scans | required | visa application | Create an account through evisacam.cm or evisacam.com as linked by MINREX. Complete the long-stay salaried-worker entry application accurately and scan the supporting records separately. Review the file before finalising. The reviewed public procedure does not establish a universal photograph size, upload size, copy count or every authenticated attachment field. |
| Application reference and official fee receipt | required | visa application | Pay the actual government amount displayed for the selected visa and service using the accepted payment method; MINREX lists Visa/Mastercard payment and a downloadable receipt. Retain the application reference and applicable receipt or fee-status record. Government charges are separate from any Enuncia services; payment is not approval. |
| Competent-mission enrolment decision or authorised border-issuance route | required | visa application | Follow the competent or geographically nearest Cameroonian mission's instructions. Applicants living in the mission city receive the enrolment appointment; remote applicants may request online authorisation for border issuance under Articles 29–33. Being Indian or applying online does not itself grant that authorisation. Attend the required biometric enrolment or use the border route only when actually authorised. Published ordinary/express processing periods are not guaranteed travel clearance. |
| Issued visa or actual QR border-issuance authorisation and supporting originals | required | border entry or exit | Before travel, obtain the visa or the actual authorisation permitting visa issuance at the border, as directed by the competent authority. Check that identity matches the passport and carry the documents used in the file. For authorised border issuance, officials verify the documents, enrol biometrics and issue the visa under Article 32. A submitted application or payment receipt does not replace approval or guarantee entry. |
| Required international vaccination certificates, including yellow fever | required | border entry or exit | Articles 34–36 require the international vaccination certificates required by public-health rules. CDC's Cameroon entry table requires yellow-fever vaccination for all arriving travellers aged one year or older, including this adult cohort. Carry the applicable international certificate and confirm any further current health-document instructions. This is document guidance; a medical exception must be resolved with the competent health and border authorities, not assumed from this guide. |
| Transport ticket valid to Cameroon | required | visa application | Article 36 requires a transport ticket valid to Cameroon. This long-stay list does not impose the short-stay return-ticket alternative on every long-stay applicant. |
| Repatriation guarantee | required | visa application | Provide the repatriation guarantee required by Article 36. The provision does not establish a universal bank amount, insurance product or guarantee format; confirm the acceptable instrument with the competent mission before obtaining or paying for it. |
| Employment contract approved by the Minister responsible for Employment | required | visa application | Employment contract approved by the Minister responsible for Employment, as required by Article 36. An ordinary employer offer alone is not the approved contract. This branch does not substitute the different authorisation applicable to self-employed professional activity. |

FAQs
Are all documents for Cameroon work automatically translated?
No. Translation is shown per document row because official sources may accept some documents as issued while requiring translation for others.
Can I order document processing from this checklist?
Build your checklist using the route facts first. A processing option can be selected only where supported by the document row. Rows needing language or authentication confirmation remain under review before pricing.
